Just for the record, coming home from vacation sucks. 

And no, I didn’t mean to go all Georgia O’Keefe on you (tho that’s a direction that does interest me). I was trying to use the bottom of the Apple as an island. I am particularly pleased with the water in this one.

07-14-2020 Herman Goes Sailing

I realize the Apple part of this is a repeat, however it was bothering me that it was just sailing along empty. So I added a sailor using the “Furry” and “Dry pen” brushes. It was enough of an effort that I decided to post it plus I knew you’d want to meet him. I’m really proud of this one. My daughter has named him Herman. I am working on putting him on a bicycle next (apple wheels)....

This painting used the brush called “trails.” I’m not exactly clear on what type of paint it portrays. It seemed like a thin poster paint or well-linseeded oil...
